Many people love seafood, as do I. From all types of fish to creepy crawly crustaceans to creatures with slimy legs that wiggle all about and even raw delicacies. Anyway, I stumbled (yes, stumbled because I hadn’t expected what I found), upon a dish called lobster macaroni at The Capital Grille. The Capital Grille is a mid-priced restaurant (although, I’m sure they’d like to think they are high-end just because they offer valet parking- but I beg to differ since they are at the mall). Oh, what was I saying? Uh, yes, staying on my train of thought. They have THE MOST AWESOME lobster macaroni. The dish comes to the table in a hot cast iron skillet and has a cheesy top that is perfectly golden crusted. Wait! The best part is there are big pieces of tail meat below the deliciously ooey, gooey cheese and macaroni. And wait again! There’s more. There are SEVERAL pieces of chunky lobster, enough to get a piece in every bite. No kidding! And, the combination of lobster along with perfectly textured macaroni and the perfect consistency of cheesy sauce are so scrumptious that your mouth just waters for more and more and some more. Really! And, the portion size is large enough to share with someone, if you want to, but also a decent enough size to fully satisfy a hungry belly. My confession is I ate a whole skillet, except for the small sample taste I offered my companion. Shame on me, but I have no regrets. Bon appetit!
